Chuck & Leanne

Chuck Marsh & Leanne Petty are back on the radio together here on The Maverick! This is Alamance County's mornings show on Alamance County's Radio Station.

For anyone who is not familiar, Chuck & Leanne were blessed to have the #1 morning show in the Triad and Alamance County for the entire time they work together at WPAW in Greensboro...from 2007 to 2014. The station decided to go in a different direction, Chuck Marsh left to peruse radio management and ownership before he teamed with several business owners in Alamance County to by 1200 AM (WSML) and 95.1 FM formally WPCM). While in the process of buying the above mentioned stations, Chuck filled in for Leanne's morning show partner where she was working in Lexington and one thing led to another and the team are back together again, joined by Tom Britt who takes care of News, Weather and Traffic. Tom is an awesome addition to the morning get together!

The Show is very hometown, leaving the politics for the other shows. Chuck Marsh says "The goal of the show is to be a bunch of Friends getting together over a cup of coffee". You'll hear a lot of local content, their take on national stories, Words to Live By at 7:20 AM, The Good Stuff Story of the Day, and Leanne's Morning Corney of the Day!!!

Lots of fun! Lots of community!

Coop Show

Coop was born a Country FANatic...his first concert, he was still baking in his momma's belly! It was a Tanya Tucker show and according to Mom, he was dancing the whole show.

That love of Country Music has only grown over the years, even naming his child "Cash" after the legendary Johnny Cash (He even has a tattoo of Johnny on his left arm!).

Coop and his wife, Kimberly have 3 beautiful kids who are growing up on Country Music and faith and they would all tell you their favorite thing to do is going to an outdoor Country show in the middle of summer, there's nothing better!

Catch Coop weekday afternoons on The Maverick from 2-7p

Dana Williams

Chuck Marsh, owner of The Maverick struck up a conversation with Dana Williams (Bass Play) at a Diamond Rio concert that Chuck was promoting in Roanoke Rapids. The two got to talking about their passion for the Icons like Diamond Rio themselves and the rest is history! Radio ReHab with Dana Williams came to Alamance County!!!

Dana Williams was born in Dayton Ohio but grew up mostly in Nashville, TN. His first performance was in church as the age of seven and as a youngster was influenced by a various styles of music including, bluegrass, country, rock and jazz but came back to where his heart was and is today, country music.

Dana joined Diamond Rio in 1989 and was the sixth and final member. Jimmy Olander knew Dana and called him to audition for the Tennessee River Boys. At the time Dana was hired, the guys only had one gig on their schedule, a television appearance on TNN’s “Nashville Now.” That night, the original members of Diamond Rio played together for the first time as the Tennessee River Boys.
